Soaring Sixes

“Soaring Sixes”, another musical, features the stories of Jam Ranjit singh as well as Palwankar Baloo, two of the greatest cricketers from colonial India who came from opposite ends of society. Navigating the complex forces guided by colonialism, nationalism, and their own identities, “Soaring sixes” recounts a forgotten chapter of British India’s cricketing history.

Production/Development History

“Soaring sixes” was produced by Triveni theatre Group, and was presented as part of the prestigious Abhivyakti City Arts Festival, Ahmedabad in 2023. Currently open for further development.
