Abhimanyu Acharya is an award-winning writer, theatre-maker, researcher, and translator. He has been the recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar and the Sahapedia-UNESCO fellowship, amongst others. His doctoral dissertation, tracing the aesthetics and politics of theatre in Colonial Western India, was nominated for the American Distinguished Dissertation Award. He is a postdoctoral associate in the department of English and Writing Studies at Western University and serves as the Creative Writing Specialist at Kings University College, both based in Ontario, Canada.
